Never been for a soapy but going to give it a blast tomorrow. Quick questions..
1. When is the best time to go ? How late do they stay open ? 2. How much upfront ? 3. Whats a reasonable tipping scale if they are good ? Thanks.

Cost was 1800 up front + 200 tip and drinks. I went early afternoon but I think later afternoon would be better. However they were busy.

Soi 2
In January 2010 I went in the soapy near Big C but on the same side of Second Road as the Atlantic bar. Might be Sabai Dee. It had been refurbished and had two seperate sections. One where the birds were in the traditional "goldfish bowl" and the other where there was an elevated section and they just sat on chairs. Seemingly the ones not in the "goldfish bowl" cost more. Dont know why and didnt partake anyway. The fee you pay upfront is all in and includes the birds fee, so there's no need to tip, despite what the birds might say. If their really exceptional I might bung them an additional 200 baht but that would be the absolute maximum and they would really have to impress me. |

remember once at that sabailand i picked one without really paying attention and she had the lot saggy knockers and the old snake belly best of it was she wasn't even a looker and she resembled Olive from on the buses when she put the shower cap on , i'm still mystified why i paid £30 for the pleasure
