The Forensic Museum is definitely an interesting and eerie place. Unlike the feelings of our short-attention span Brit touristas, I'd say it doesn't hold a candle to places like the Grand Palace or Wat Pho, but then, they're probably from Basingstoke or Blackpool or Coronation Street.
But for a few hours on a hot afternoon it's a nice air-conditioned stroll through some rather bloodthirsty exhibits . . . along with some pretty mundane medical stuff as well. The remains of Bangkok's most notorious serial killer is on proud display, and lots of neat skulls with bullet holes (in & out). Sometimes it's just rather nice to hang out with incredibly quiet cadavers, rather than the screaming teenage cacophony of MBK.
