THAKSIN CALLS THREE THAI PLAYERS FOR MANCHESTER CITY TRIALS

Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, Former Thailand Prime Minister took full control of English Premier League club Manchester City, offered three Thai players trials with Premier League club

The Shinawatra family secured 75 percent of Manchester City shares Monday to take total control of the struggling side, whose last major success was 31 years ago when they won the League Cup.

His lawyer, Noppadol Pattama, said that the club expected to sign at least two Thailand players

Striker Teerasil Dangda and defenders Suree Sukha and Kiatprawut Saiwaeo all played for Thailand in this month’s Asian Cup. Three of them will train with the team in Manchester next week, Thai football officials said Wednesday.

Teerasil, 19, and Kiatprawut, 21, made their senior national team debuts at the ongoing Asian Cup, where co-hosts Thailand failed to advance from the group stage.

Attacking fullback Suree, 24, has been a regular for the national team since 2005.

These players have no chance of making it in the Premier League, they are too small, when I was in Bangkok 2 years ago seeing City play ,the Thai team were tiny, it was like men against boys
