Not totally unexpected, was a step backwards for Liverpool.

Not sure if Martinez or AVB would be any better though!

No chance of Mourinho, Brendan Rogers won't even talk about it either. I reckon it is a difficult job to get anyone decent.

still a huge club to have on your cv and many a manager would do it free of charge...

free of charge?

Somehow doubt that Reg.

No chance of Mourinho too I reckon.

Who would be your personal choice? Apart from Mourinho I mean?

Difficult to find anyone who will be acceptable to some of that crowd. They can only see " King " Kenny. Will make it a very tough job to win over the Kop

Looks like Martinez getting the job, must be mad as he will get the Hodgson treatment if he loses a couple of games.

It's a poisonous job with too much expectation.

Brenda going to the scousers gave Cardiff fans something to laugh at for all of 24 hours......until Malky started getting tipped for the Norwich job if Lambert goes to villa :bash:

I reckon this might be a decent appointment.

Someone not tied to the Anfield Bootroom mob, and can shake the club up a bit.
