Piyaporn Chinsiri points to the knife she allegedly used to kill Rattana Champasri.
Piyaporn reportedly told police the two had been working at the Hollywood disco and met a Japanese man in his mid-20s who had agreed to hire both of them for a short-time liaison. However, Piyaporn claimed that during the baht bus ride to the customer’s hotel Rattana tried to kick her out of the taxi. A fight ensued and, Piyaporn claimed, she used a knife in self defense. Scared off, the Japanese customer fled the scene. Piyaporn was taken into custody and charged with attempted murder.
